In one month Natalie will no longer be a baby! I remember it was all over once Dillan turned one. First there was the birthday party, then he started walking, and before we knew it, all his baby fat melted off and he became the toddler he is today. I plan to treasure every moment of this month.
Natalie is already changing before my eyes. She is finding some interesting ways to tell me she is a big girl now and not a baby anymore. Sometimes I let her play with toys by me as I blow dry my hair in the morning. The other morning, I looked down and noticed she was gone. I looked over at the staircase only to realize she climbed the entire thing... 13 step up! She was waiting at the top looking down at me. I had no idea she could even climb a stair. Scary!
Today I decided to take some pictures of Natalie. She has developed an interest in her dolls lately, and it is SO CUTE! She gives them lots of hugs, kisses and squeals. As I was taking her picture, she dropped her doll out of her crib. Before I knew it, she jumped and dove out head first to go after it! Luckily, I grabbed her arm mid air before she landed on her head. We immediately lowered her crib to the last notch!
What's harder than trying to photograph a moving target? Trying to photograph two! This was the best I could do.
My handsome little 2 year old!
